A native of Cleveland, Ohio, his roots were grown in gospel and his sound has blossomed into a soulful blend of blues, gospel, R&B, jazz and funk.

His smooth harmonies and charismatic stage presence have since earned him widespread recognition. In 2023, Eric received a Grammy nomination for his first solo album IT AIN’T EASY, which is a masterclass in modern blues storytelling. More than just music, it serves as a tribute to and journey through the Mississippi Delta to the house scene of Chicago and the streets of Harlem.
